After the privatization
process was completed (October 2004), DIOKI started work
on capacity expansion projects. New employees have been recruited.
DIOKI Group employs 911 people at 2 production sites, of
which 565 employees work at DIOKI d.d., Zagreb and 346
at DINA-Petrokemija d.d.,Omišalj. The DIOKI employee qualification
structure is more than satisfactory since about 18 per cent
of the workforce accounts for university graduates and only
5 per cent for semi-skilled workers.
The development of human resources is characterized by the

employees to come up with original ideas for improving
the products, processes and services; and

Special attention is focused on trainees and their introduction
to the company in order that they can feel from the very
beginning that they are important members of the group they
belong to.
DIOKI invests not only in knowledge of its
employees but also in their health and occupational safety
by sending them to through medical check-ups on regular basis.
In addition, the company has taken out accident insurance
policy for their employees. |
