- referendum on integration with the INA Group - foundation of DINA Petrokemija (petrochemistry ) based in Rijeka
- OKI's plant reconstruction to increase polyethylene production to 33 000 t/y
- start of production in expanded polystyrene at General Janković in Kosovo

- start of operation at DINA - Petrokemija

- start of construction of polyethylene and VCM/EDC plants at DINA

- modernisation and expansion of polyethylene and polystyrene processing facilities

- the Foundation of Public Company
INA - Industrija nafte act under which socially owned property becomes state property
- definition of legal framework for the transformation of INA and all its members

1991
- INA-OKI becomes a joint stock company, and its subsidiaries located at Pregrada, Drniš and Kosovo are transformed into separate legal entities
- beginning of the war, market disintegration, loss of plants at General Janković and Drniš
- start of alerts at INA-OKI because of immediate war danger
- decision to temporary stop production
- one week's stoppage of production at DINA

1992
- resolution by INA-OKI Management Board to separate processing plants to form them as daughter – companies, and to expand operations of OKI, the parent company
- award of Golden Trophy for Quality (for the third time) for continuity of successful production of polyethylene and polystyrene
- the best annual results achieved in production and sale of plastics (140 759 t) in INA-OKI

1993
- certification of DINA (ISO 9002), DINA being the first company in Croatia to be awarded this certificate
- stop of production in refinery plants for production of petrochemicals (ethylene, styrene, alkylation, and phenol-acetone) for technological and economic reasons

1995
- implementation of the restructuring programme,
- establishment of new daughter companies, i.e. OKI Kemikalije (OKI Chemicals) and OKI-Usluge (OKI Services)
- foundation of INA-Polimeri d.o.o., a merger of INA-OKI, DINA and INA-Naftaplin's Ethylene Plant
- formation of the company's own Foreign Trade Department (until that time all foreign business was conducted through INA-Commerce)

1996
- award of ISO 9002/94 to INA-OKI

1997
- decision by INA to separate INA-Polimeri from INA Group. The company starts operating under the name Polimeri d.o.o.

1998
- in the process of voucher privatization majority interest in Polimeri d.o.o. (51%) transferred to three privatisation funds
- decision by the State Office for Standardization and Metrology to award an accreditation certificate to the company's own Physical and Chemical Laboratory for carrying out mechanical, thermal and rheological testing of polymer materials in compliance with the requirements of the HRN EN 45001 standard

1999
- registration of the company as a joint stock company (d.d.) with authorised share capital of HRK 2 021 029 000;
- the company changes its name to DIOKI d.d.

2000
- a new three-member Management Board prepared and started implementation of a medium-term Restructuring Plan with the purpose of modernising the company

2004
- in mid 2004, the DIOKI company was privatized and DIOKI Holding AG, headquartered in Switzerland became the majority owner. A new management board and supervisory board were appointed.
