Dioki d.d. is the only petrochemical industry in the Republic of Croatia with the business tradition more than 50 years long. With the aim of reducing energy consumption costs and increasing energy efficiency Dioki d.d. launched its own activities for the building of the Cogeneration plant. High and equally distributed electric power and heat energy consumption throughout the year provides ideal conditions for construction of the cogeneration. The Project itself envisages building of a cogeneration plant with gas turbogenerator power unit of 35 MW electric strength and boiler plant on the basis of waste heat boiler of the production capacity of 40t/h of high-pressure steam, pressure of 81 bar and temperature of 480 oC. Project would also ensure a surplus of electric power which would be offered at the market.
